Reporting a conversion that went wrong

This is the most useful message you can send. To make it easy to fix, please include:

• The two formats, for example STL to 3MF.
• Which program made the original file, and which version.
• What you expected, and what you got instead.
• Any error message, copied exactly.
• The approximate file size and triangle count, if you know them.

Please do not attach your file. We designed this site so that your files never reach us, and we would rather keep it that way. A description is almost always enough. If it is not, and the model is not confidential, we will ask.

Asking for a format

Tell us the format and what you are trying to do with it. Some formats are closed and cannot be read by any browser tool — those are explained on the about page — but if a format is open and useful, it can go on the list.

Response time

This is a small independent project, so replies are not instant. Reports of a broken conversion are read first.
